The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari

Every once in a while, I come across a concept within a book or a piece of research that changes the very fabric of my worldview and my habits.

I’ve decided that if these hidden gems within these books can have such a huge impact on me, personally, it would be selfish for me to keep these secrets of success to myself.

So, going forward, I’ve decided that at least once a month I’m going to share these magic formulae with you, my LinkedIn family, so that just as I learn from all of you, maybe, you can pick up these little nuggets of wisdom that have guided me to success, as well.

To get started, here’s one of the most crucial lessons I picked up from Robin Sharma’s inspiring fable: “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari”.

I tried and tested the theory, and it’s true! Turns out, if you practice a good habit and make it part of your daily schedule at a specific time every day - for 21 days - you’ll land up doing it as mechanically and habitually as brushing your teeth!

Want to start reading a bit of a book every day? Want to start meditating a bit every day? Want to start drinking a glass of water or some tea every day? Just start doing it - one day at a time - at a specific time in the day. And 21 days later, you’ll notice, you’ve built a good habit!
